Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to encourage a 4 month old to suck? We're trying to teach our son how to take a bottle. He took one fine as a newborn but after fixing his tongue tie at about 8 weeks old and having a month with no bottle as recommended we haven't been able to get him to take a bottle anymore. He isn't upset about having it in his mouth but seems to have no idea at all that he's meant to suck on it. I can't easily get him to suck my finger or a pacifier either so I was wondering if there's any way to encourage him to suck?

What do you do if sucking is not integrated as a reflex by 3-4 mo? Do you continue wuck training?

Hi my baby is 5and a half month old now and his bottom 2 teeths have erupted, he is not able to properly breastfeed .. as first month of his life he was in nicu with a feeding tube in his mouth for a week or so .. I am trying to breastfeed him but he is biting my breast and while sucking he is not able to seal his mouth properly and making pch pch sound .. kindly guide
