The Sons of the Pioneers - Froggy Went-A-Courtin' (Lucky-U Ranch Live)

Anybody that watched Tom and Jerry as a kid, or an adult will remember when Jerry's Uncle Pecos came to visit in the 1955 episode "Pecos Pest".

The character of Uncle Pecos was played by Sons of the Pioneers Alum Shug Fisher. In this cartoon he sang a rendition of "Froggy Went A Courtin". A few years earlier Shug Fisher performed this bit nearly verbatim on The Sons of the Pioneers Luck-U Ranch program in 1951. I hope you all will enjoy this performance featuring the comedic Shug Fisher (seated in the group photo, with the guitar)
