This mt 07 is reduced power to 35 kw(47,5 hp) so you can drive it with a A2 driving license. So this bike do not have full effect.

In some eu countries you have diffrent driving licenses to reduced death rate of young motorcykel drivers.

this is max power youcan drive with your licenses
A1 16-20+ -11kw(15hp)
A2 20-24+ -35kw(47.5)
A 24+ 35kw+(47.5hp)

Reached 191 km/h with the 35Kw A2 Version. Quite Impressive as I think !

195 km/h top speed on my 2017 Yamaha MT07 (A2)
And i felt like it could go up to 200 easily it really depends on the weather and road conditions

Getting down into more of a tuck position will make a huge difference to top speed, as will how loose your clothing is. Adding a windscreen would help too. Aerodynamics plays a massive part in high speed performance.

Hey, 180 km/h, not bad for 35kW. Is it the 2018s model? Thanks for sharing!

I thought that 35kw was nothing. Guess I’ll be having fun when I’m eighteen. Right now I ride my yzf r125

I have an 2017 FZ07. You shifted into 5 way too early. Run the RPM up to just under the redline and then go to 5th. If you are down that much on HP, you do not even need 6th.

Fun fact: this version has about the same power as a 250cc bike (zx25r & cbr250rr)

How is the throttle of the A2 restricted version? Is it less jerky and snatch at low speeds than the unrestricted version?

Great vid! I just made a vid of the 0-100 time, but should also do this. Love the bike!

I mean the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R can hit 195 KPH Stock.
The Yamaha MT-03 Stock with speed limiter redlines at 199 KPH.
So if 250-300cc bikes can hit 195-200KPH.
Why is the MT-07 Struggling to beat the MT-03???
If it's flashed ECU, Take it off.
If it's governed, rip that off to.
Thanks for sharing, I'm just disappointed in Yamaha for making a bigger version that's not faster than it's 300cc model.
I always loved how reliable Honda, Yamaha are. Suzuki GSXR series ain't bad either.

So long as you get what you paid for and you're happy with it.
That's all that matters, I just thought Yamaha would've built a 700cc model a little faster and more aggressive than the 300cc model.
400 cc difference and you can't even tell the difference.

Se ela chega a essa velocidade limitada a 35cv está ótimo . Aqui no Brasil as motos tem 74cv e chegam a 220 a 230kmh.

Mine, 2022 model, doesnt go further 180 easly. Anyway, the 35kw version is more than enough for average-use. This CP2 engine, has so much torque at low and mid revs
