I really think they did not make the right decision in introducing large data set stuff... it ends up testing quite irrevelant things like what month in Beijing was winter... wheres the math in that? If they are going to give snippets of data of the large dataset as part of the question (as they say they would), why have all these large datasets been issued anyway?

Why ask which variable from largedataset can be modelled by normal distribution (that was a question) when you could specify all the variables in the question, then ask the same question? It ends up being a test of the candidate's abilility to recall what the variables are which is just not the way Math tests should be.

Hope they remove this stuff or ask very specific questions that can be solved within the exam using the information in the paper.

There was a question asking me to name the month with the most rainfall, and I would only know that if I memorize the LD set.

Is it worth looking at the LDS for AQA upcoming paper 3 as it isn't on the advanced information?

My data sheet for this year (AQA) is about cars, how am i supposed to become familiar with it when I've only got access to google sheets rather than excel. My teacher gave a powerpoint of how to go through it but it was tailored to excel :(
