My Tonkinese Cats Have a Microchip That Takes Their Temperature (info)

🌡️ Our three girls have microchips that will reveal their body temperature with their microchip number using a scanner equipped to read the data.
The HomeAgain ISO Microchip reader I have displays their microchip number and temperature on the screen. It can be set to read the temp in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
For this video, I blocked their microchip numbers from view.
* If a pet is already microchipped, this microchip cannot be inserted to "update" an existing one. *

In a case like I have right now where our Fitness Kitty is recovering from a medical procedure, I can get accurate temperature readings as often as I want to, without me or a vet tech needing to handle her or bother her by sticking something in her ear.
I just pass my hand scanner over the microchip and it will relay the information.
When I go to the vet's office, I take this with me to show it to the doctor and the technicians to share that our technology right now offers this as an option and they can see how it works. In my experience, so few are aware and have never seen anything like it and it has been around for years.
When my Soul Kitty Panu was in her palliative stage, she - like many cats in their final stage of life - will have trouble regulating their temperature.
Panu did not have a microchip that would relay her temperature information. If she did, I think this microchip would have been very useful to assist with her comfort level for sure.
Especially with Jeannie being a senior-aged cat, I feel especially grateful to have this technology available to help us out for any future situations she may have down the road and not bother her too much if need be.
The three readings that came up during my scan for this video today in the order they appeared were:
Kitty Friend Astara: 99.4F / 37.4C
Fitness Kitty Jeannie: 99.8F / 37.6C
Mystery Kitty Cybelle: 98.5F / 36.9C
