11:07 note you can easily take the whole filter off without opening it as claimed in the video. I spot a union valve that's meant to do that. No need to replace a filter as described in the video.

I’m going the DIY route for financial reasons. For a fully exposed plunge do you think a chest freezer build or tank/chiller build would be better? I would like to go with the chest freezer but not sure it would hold up.

How did they water tight seal the chest freezer? Usually the freezers (right from the store) have either plastic or a metallic type of sticker on them. The Box Plunge seems to be coated with some extra sealant
