Bengal SSC Scam: All You Need To Know About Partha Chatterjee, Arpita Mukherjee's Link To Corruption

West Bengal minister and Trinamool Congress heavyweight Partha Chatterjee was “evasive” during questioning by the Enforcement Directorate after he was arrested in connection with the teacher recruitment scam, sources said.

Chatterjee’s rumoured “close aide” Arpita Mukherjee, also arrested in the same case, was interrogated by ED officials. But while she cooperated with the probe agency, the minister was less forthcoming in the face of relentless grilling, sources said.

The ED arrested Chatterjee on Saturday in connection with its investigation into alleged irregularities in the recruitment drives by the West Bengal School Service Commission (SSC).
