Messenger was my ULTIME FAVORITE job when i was younger partly because I got to get out of class to go grab papers or other stuff like that but it was still super fun

I’m a 6th grade ELA teacher, and I aspire to be like you. I don’t assign jobs quite like this, but I love getting students involved in the classroom. Your positive attitude is so inspiring, and is a reminder for me to remain optimistic even on bad days. I’m new and still learning, but I hope to be as wonderful and empathetic as you are. I started getting classroom jobs in third grade, but it was just because the janitor quit, so the school needed all the help they could get. We’d wipe desks, sweep the floors, replace the soap, wipe the chalkboards, etc.

It was all fun and games for the school until somebody's dad said “it shouldn’t be the students’ job to clean after this old, dirty school.” Whoever’s dad was that, you have all my respect.

Omg I remember like 2 years ag when I was in yr 4, messenger was a different thing so like 2 people had to like take things to and from the office and I LOVED it. Once it was me and this other boy and like I remember we would fight ALL the time on who takes the paper or whatever. He would always make me run after him and I would be so tired after running these errands.😅

Why did I suddenly just have flash backs😂. When I was in first grade everyone HATED being the caboose. We also had numbers so every other day it would be like the odd numbers out up everyone’s chairs, and then the even numbers, no one liked having to put up chairs.

when I was younger, my favorite jobs would probably have to be messager. There was other jobs like trash collector like that would put the trash bin outside the classroom for the trash people to collect and class librarian who would collect books and restock them. This was in like 2nd or 3rd grade 😅❤

From I think kindergarten to maybe 2nd grade (I was only at that school until second grade cause we ended up moving but still) We had after lunch cleaners so 2-3 kids would stay back after lunch and clean up our tables and things like that and I swear I LOVED DOING THAT especially when i got to do it with my friends cause we would purposely take FOREVER to clean just so we could be cool and not walk in line but our teacher would stop at the middle of the hall to wait for us for about 1 minute and then continue to walk and so we would be out here doing unnecessary cleaning WHATEVER WE COULD DO SO WE DIDNT HAVE TO WALK IN LINE
