Inovelli just sent over their 2018 lineup of Z-wave switches.Today we’re going to dig into their outdoor plug in modules, indoor plug in modules and in-wall switches.And as is always the case with Inovelli, there’s a few cool surprises to be found in their smart home gear.

Smart home guy, thank you so much. I bought a smarthings hub and 4 Inovelli Z wave plus switches a week ago not really knowing how to wire them. Doing a google search on the switches I came upon your channel. WOW all 4 switches are functioning perfectly thanks to your videos. I really like the Inovelli 2 channel outdoor plug I got when they came out and wanted to get a couple more to add more Christmas lights this year but the seem to be unavailable. I wonder if they stopped making them.

Thanks for the video. I currently have a 3 way setup with dimmers at both ends. Will I have to replace one switch with a Inovelli and the other with a basic paddle on/off switch or can I just replace one with the Inovelli and leave the old dimmer switch in place? Thanks for your help.

Thinking about getting those switches for my house that is currently being built. Is there something I should let the builder or electrician know? Also how do you like the new switches?

Great video, I have question.  Will the inovelli in wall paddle dimmer switch dim function work in the Wink Hub, and/or the Echo.  do I use the GE wall dimmer like the Zooz dimmer wall switch. This is in a single switch application.

Another great video. This seems like a good spot to ask a question about something I've been pondering.
Can you think of a good solution for detecting an outlet has lost power (via breaker switch was tripped, etc.)? I'd like to get some sort of notification if my lower level refrigerator is no longer getting power. I'm open to pretty much all options (smart outlet, plug-in module, sensor, building robots in Wink, etc.) with the most focus on notification capabilities (being alerted within 5-10 minutes, max). Thanks!

How many devices are on the Vera and Smart things vs the Wink? I was originally going to get a Wink 2 but that lag is awful. and I'm wondering if the others would have a similar issue with over 50 devices connected.

can I have 2 hubs one upstairs and one downstairs of different types, say a SmartThings, VeraSecure,  and wink hub and control everything with Alexa.  thanks
