Thanks for saying what we were all thinking. This is gambling, and the worst kind of it at that. I think skin crates are fine, since they give no competitive advantage. This on the other hand creates a ton of problems, namely game balance. People don't have to play the game anymore, or at least not well. If they have enough money, they can just keep gambling for nuke and make the game insanely easy. Plus with the new VIP+ subscription, you get a 100% luck bonus, further incentivizing people to spend tons of cash on the game. It's fine if they want to make the game p2w, but if you're going to do it just be up front about it. Don't make people spend extra due to "luck". We came here to play a tower defense game, not a glorified gacha game with "oh yeah, and there's tower defense if you want to".

this update is going to be awful, either A) power ups make the game too easy or B) they game is balanced around using the one-time-use items you have to grind, it's over bros

stupid thing is how you CANT USE them in hardcore, though the UAV gives flying detection. Yeah it gives hidden detection, but why have flying at all if you cant. use it in the mode that has the MOST flying enemies??? Like why?

Funny how they make powerups as soon as tdx makes powerups… and a nuke one specifically… (btd6 made powerups first but tdx added powerups that were unique)

This is horrific. And sad, honestly I remember when people complained about a lack of updates a long time ago but now when I think of that I think “how much better would it have been if the game was abandoned?”

Hey Elite, fan here letting you know that you can get nukes from mid tier crates as well as low tier (I got 2 nukes from blasting 20k coins on mid tier crates).
