I think most people thought of GFriend first, but I heard Lovelyz, April and Apink too. Now that you say it, I do hear fromis_9 and maybe also Oh My Girl? It's totally a familiar sound but I like how they put their own twist on it!

What's incredible is how HQ this debut is from such an unknown company. Like they are starting on the ground floor and already reaching really nice levels in terms of production value on a relatively limited budget.

i love how this song is that quintessential girl group song sound but it still manages to be unique and well made and not just a cheap copy of older songs

The girl that look like Nako is Yuna, she's the smallest in the group and her voice is cute like Nako. Maybe that's why she also remind me of Nako

During the first verses when PD does the head tilt and their expression completely changes…. Honestly same 😂 I was def not expecting to like it like this. A lot of groups have been debuting with girl crush concept, even really young ones (I love girl crush though, not a bad thing), so this romantic comforting music with a “simple” aesthetic feels somehow really refreshing

as much as i love darker concepts in kpop, kpop isn’t kpop without its cute concepts — i’m so glad to see groups beginning to “freshen” their concepts. i love how their group is called “first love” and their concept and song resembles that purity so well ^__^

Coming to this video after their latest release, somehow entirely missed their debut in July but I was blessed by loveticon randomly appearing in my spotify release radar and only a day later I absolutely love all of their tracks. It's something I would have never listened to a few years ago but now it gives me so much joy and happiness

As much as I'm not into this particular style of K-pop music, I have to say that it's refreshing to hear a track like this at this point. When was the last time a girl group came out with a track like this? For the last year, at least, we've been given almost just girl crush, sleek dance tracks or dark concepts. I have to rewind my memory pretty far back to come across a similar track. Again, the track isn't my style, but admittedly it stands out among current songs. Hopefully it results in positive attention for CSR, and that the large group of people who are into this kind of sound become fans of CSR.

as a long time buddy desperately missing gfriend, i'm so sooo happy with this group. this concept and genre of music is one of my favorites in kpop and i'm so glad they debuted with it!! and as you said, they didn't just do this standard concept, they added something more to it, so it came out as a refreshing combination of classic nostalgic stuff and new exciting stuff. i love it. and i appreciate that all the girls are born in 2005. new groups nowadays have dangerously young members and 2005 in my opinion isn't that bad, though 17 is still pretty young. but at least they're not 14.

Lets face it this is a cracking song - very well architected with great key and tempo/style changes, topped with a great performance/MV from the CSR girlies. (The performance MV is my fave).
