I inherited my bfs pregnant dog when he passed in 2005 and that litter of puppies saved my life. They made me smile every day when I didn't feel like I could and there was one who, like Banjo, absolutely imprinted on me and I couldn't give him up. I had him for 14 wonderful years. Thanks for sharing and the walk down memory lane!

Animals know when we're sad. I lost my beautiful gray tabby almost a year ago. About a month after she passed, Gus, my coworker's support dog began to visit me each morning. He'd hang around and let me pet him. Now he visits me twice a day and that makes me happy.
