This TV is Amazing! I read alot of reviews, mostly from people who don't know how to calibrate a TV I assume...Most of the complaints were from light bleeding...ok if you take any TV out there, fully array edge lit (besides OLED) and have the backlit settings maxed out of course you're gunna see light bleeding. Adjust your TV to the room you are in people. If I'm gunna watch a move I make sure my room is dark so I can correctly adjust the backlit settings. If I'm playing games I turn on a light (perferable off to the side of the TV so you don't get glare) and adjust accordingly because playing games in the dark will kill your .This TV is meant for people who know how to use a TV, if you want to be stupid along with your TV and you like that over saturated look then get a Samsung or some other crap brand...

I just bought it today and it's fantastic and incredible awesome TV I never expected to find 4k quality like this in a TV now I'm waiting to buy the new ps4 pro just to enjoy this winter !

As an owner of a similar TV, The "smart functionality" is useless if you own oomething like a PS4 or Xbox One.

The quality of these new sets with 4K is amazing - like being on the set as they are filming. Of course if the set is sketchy you now get to see that too. Definitely puts even more pressure for tv shows to have high production values.

the sound is excellent?? You're not serious are you? Just bought this tv and so far I love it, however, the sound is absolutely horrendous. It also probably doens't help the speakers are facing downwards and not at you. Just my two pennies

This television is astounding. I'm running a PS4 Pro through it, and the visuals are jaw dropping. I've never seen anything like it. And best of all it comes with an HDMI ARC port.

I picked up the Sony XBR-43X800D which has the same features, but is a smaller size. I would love to have a larger TV but, I shouldn't go above a 40x" for my current setup. I love the picture and sound, though I have my TV connected to a 2.0 Sound bar via the optical out. The one I purchased was about $650 USD0.

Wanted to also mention this replaced a 6 year old 42" Panasonic Plasma (model TC-P42U1), which is now the bedroom TV. Sony has always satisfied me, when it comes to Plasma and LCD comparison.

while its debatable wich manufactur produces the best picture quality, there is no one doing tv design better than sony. all the other tvs look like typical tvs but sonys don't. they look like a piece of modern art wich makes your living room more beautiful.
