Where is this neurologist? I feel so ignored on my symptoms even though I’ve had decompression surgery 5 years ago with minimal relief but also have cervical stenosis being ignored. I’m being told to “deal with residual symptoms” but running out of options to treat my symptoms…

In California. My 7 year old daughter had migraines with nausea that got worse over time. This prompted the pediatrician to order an MRI. From the result, the doctor gave a chiari Malformation diagnosis. She was referred to see a neurologist. My findings are that most neurologists arent familiar with Chiari Malformations and only have experience in Migraine headaches. How do I get the neurologist to refferr my daughter to a pediatric Neurosurgeon who can give a medical review on my daughter Chiari Malformation. Im concerned that the neurologist may only treat her with regard to pain medication and pain management.
