Finally, a good all-around car review that considers car seats and family appeal! Leg room for the littles while in front-facing seats is important, especially for an SUV where you expect to have more room. I think the cramped fit takes this one off the list for me. Curious which luxury SUV's you think have good 2nd row car seat room? I'm considering the Volvo XC60 and XC90 next.. Thanks for the great review!

Great review man. I'm testing the MKX right now as well, with the exact same configuration with the two car seats in second-row - I agree, a bit cramped and little legroom for the kid in the back. Otherwise, I love this thing - S-mode driving dynamics are awesome; very sedan-like.

Great review, very useful and real-world focused. I'm in the same family situation as you, with two young children. Is your seat all the way back at 6:57 in the video? May I ask your daughter's age and what type of car seat she's in (i.e., standard child seat or booster seat)? My daughter is 2 and is getting ready to switch to a forward facing seat. She will sit behind me, and my 3-year old son will sit behind my wife. I'm 6'1" and my seat is usually most of the way back in the travel, maybe 1" from full stop depending on the car. I'm just trying to gauge a better idea if the kids' legroom will be an issue before I bring the kids and the carseats to the Lincoln dealer. I appreciate any insight you could share. Thanks!
