There Are (No) Stupid Questions… In Science

“When Harvard accepts you, you’re not going to say no.” – Leah Elson

Be willing to take the leap, do it and do it now, don’t wait. Leah took a hard turn in her life from sportscasting to science, medicine and research. Physics was intuitive for Leah and was the area that she chose to delve into and liked all of the experiments! After Harvard, Leah completed a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology at John’s Hopkins. Leah did a short stint in medical school but realized that her gift was really in research. Leah then went to USC Kech School of Medicine and is currently pursuing a PhD in Molecular Biology.

Leah’s drive in life was to affect the maximum amount of people as possible. Leah has a gift in research and she knew that she could design something that would affect thousands of patients over the course of her life.
Leah has six years of experience in Public Science communication. Leah’s unique approach is to have her audience to ask her questions. Leah is the creator and host of “60 Seconds of Science” and “Reel Science.”
