What makes the Akatsuki so much cooler to me is that all their ideologies, and goals are based on what people fight wars for. Deidara, Sasori, and Orochimaru fight for their selfish ambitions, Kakuzu fights for the bread, Itachi and zetsu fight for protection, Hidan fights for religion, and Konan, Nagato, and Obito fight for peace. All their personalities, character, and drip are just the cherry on top.

The Akatsuki hands down fk that... They've got the drip, they've got intelligence and they're the best team of villains that I've ever seen, working and caring for one another, albeit, fake caring but that's more than most gets irl

Ulquiorra is probably my favorite anime villain as well. He is such a well written character and has one of the coolest designs out there. Plus, his final fight with Ichigo is probably the best fight in the entire series.
