So I had to come back to this video, makes sense to make sure I have all the info from both videos. So from now on, I guess I will use that Assembly Line of Components type of modelling / building. This makes sense when you would build a car, building the wheels, then the brakes and hubs, then attaching to diff, then under the chassis, then the body.
Oh just the though is enough to give me a headache.

So if I create components in an assembly if I changed the shaft size component would it automatically change the hole in the base? Maybe give just a warning on fit?

thanks for the "save copy as" It will be extremely helpful for me because when i'm breaking the link and wanna to delete source file from my F360 folder there is a notification "a version of this design has been referenced by drawings or other designs and cannot be deleted" this is a bug or i'm doing something wrong?

Anybody knows how to replace component by another component at same place in assembly???
I have one suppler A and their tubes have thickness of 1.6mm. I have 8 of those tubes in my main assembly.
They are currently out of stock so I have to go to suppler B and get the tubes from them but the thickness is now 2mm.

I do not want to edit the original part (Ii will use the product in the future) but want to copy the original part, edit to 2mm thickness and be able to replace 8 of those tubes (links) in the original assembly in one go without playing with the joints again. Easily done in other CAD solutions but not here. I discovered "Save As and Replace" but only works for the first one out of 8. Tried naming all with the same name but ended up creating 8 files with the same name. No way to point the links to the newly created file.
Thanks
