I used to work at MOA and like every other week, there's some rando 12 year old doing a show like this, often with 10-20 people awkwardly milling around like "oh is something happening? who is this person who gets to be on a Stage?" There will be signs around the mall saying, "Charlie Davenport was an extra in several episodes of CSI Bismarck, come hear him perform his new and only single, also available free on soundcloud."
I would have no trouble believing those kids were doing some kind of concert that the Olsens could take over. Like, sure. Why not. Everyone else has.

I watched Mall Party like a zillion times at day care. I thought the whole "lets get on a plane to go shopping" deal was just a bit outrageous even at the age of 6. Great video!

When I’m down (and when I’m not) I rewatch some of your classics (and Phelan’s, too) to cheer me up. “Assley” had me laughing like a madman and replaying it over and over. It’s probably the first real laugh I’ve had in a long time. Your cynicism and sarcasm ironically brings joy to the world.

I remember the Mall Party episode being my favorite one as a kid because I grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis and had actually been to most of the places it was filmed. It's weird to see it as an adult though. It brings back memories, but it's not because the show was good.
