Great analysis. One of the few serious I've seen on Youtube. Straight to the point, knowledgable. You should consider doing more longer-form analyses of games (especially college basketball/March Madness) for basketball purists like me who appreciate the finer details of the game that a large majority of basketball content/analysts (both television and Youtube) completely ignore in favor of click-bait, entertainment-driven content ... There is a gap and I believe you could be one to fill it. Keep makings vids!

Pretty sure their main scout/numbers guy is the first coach on the bench, Matt Gordon. Dude's been with Porter since his college years student coaching for him, and I know that's what he did back then. Pretty sure he's the film nerd.

Goes to show why having playmaking bigs is so important...Cockburn was never a threat to catch the ball on a slip screen and get downhill in a quick 4 v 3. Illinois' ballhandlers were in hell all afternoon. Great video!

Corner player is open all day long. Or have a corner player cut the bucket. This defense is beatable.

Loyola d is good but how many shots illinois usually makes in that 1st half? About 6 or 7 at least. Illinois had a pathetic game overall.

tbh i don’t think our offense (Illinois) struggled that much nor did loyola’s defense do that good. The looks we got were ones we made the whole season and there’s a lot of open layup misses. looking back at the game i just realize it wasn’t our game and wasn’t overly impressed by loyola’s defense
