I listen to this song at night if I feel hurt and can't sleep. This particular song meant something really special to me and I would love to know what it meant to Trent, though he rarely openly will discuss what his songs are about. I will always love Nine Inch Nails.

When I was in high school I had nearly every single NIN single and album, even imports from multiple countries...Having redundant copies...Somewhere along the line I learned that being a fan isn't about owning everything, but I've still never made a connection to another musician like I have with NIN. Lights in the Sky is probably my favorite NIN song now. This is a song I've lived...From more than one perspective...

This song is so creative and unique, the emotion just makes me wana cry. No other person can convey such power, probably one of the most powerful songs ever (except Hurt)

I love how passionate he is with his music, even if it's a song I don't like he puts so much effort into almost all of his songs it eventually grows on me. Reznor was my inspiration to drop all of the drugs and learn to tap into my skills on my own without any "help". I don't regret any of the things I've done don't get me wrong, it was fun. But I know I can do it by myself and I thank Trent for helping me out indirectly with his fantastic music.

This is a song where the audience should shut the hell up and listen. And they, sadly, don't do it. It really pisses me off, actually. At concerts it will happen, but this is one of those songs that digs deep into your soul and has SO many meanings depending on your place in life. So why would you scream as loud as possible just to be that guy who yelled during a NIN concert?

Saw this live at sonisphere for the first time, after seeing NIN many a time, and i can honestly say it was the most moving piece of live music I've ever witnessed. If it never happens again, I'll always be proud i saw this first hand. Wish anyone that even has the mildest appreciation of music could have been there.

I think Nine Inch Nails's music since The Fragile is 10x better than everything before it. Don't get me wrong, The Downward Spiral, Broken, and PHM were all classics and produced amazing songs, but it's not about being angry or sad anymore. It's about realizing your surroundings, putting the pieces of your life together and figureing out what some of those pieces are and how they got there. The glue that keeps it all together is Trent's honesty and emotion to all of this. He is truly a genious.
