JJ is better than any WR I have ever seen at finding the soft spot in a defense. Kupp, Michael Thomas (in his very, very short prime), Amon Ra are great at it. Jefferson is the the **BEST** at it. I see so many people say "the defense left him wide open." No the hell they did not. He read the defense off the snap, adjusted his route and got into the soft spot. Period. If you understand true football, it is a thing of beauty. That, on top of his contested catch ability, breaks off his routes, underrated speed, RAC ability, and reliability with his hands is just ridiculous. He may very well be the most complete WR the game has ever seen. And I've been watching a long time. I've seen the entire career of a lot of legends. He is right up there with Rice, Moss, Megatron, Fitz etc in terms of ability. The counting stats will come if he stays on the field. But I can't think of a WR I'd rather have tbh. Take Reek for example. You put a big physical corner on him that can jam him on the line and help over the top, and he is relatively erased. Still a threat, but not nearly as much. Meanwhile I have seen games where the entire gameplan was to stop JJ and he pops off for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns still. How many games has he truly been shut down in his career? Like 2 or 3 max?

Tyreek also has great awareness. Elusiveness, and catching ability. Any track star can run. Can you track that ball? Can you not give away to the corner that the ball is coming? Can you just win THAT hard to be WIDE open. You don’t need tyreek to be elite at multiple things. The plays are drawn up with his strengths in mind.
