Rockman - Mastertronic 1984 - VIC20

Rockman for the Commodore VIC-20, and impressive game with 20 levels packed in 3.5Kb of memory. Some say its a Boulder Dash Clone (it may be) but I remember this game first. The controls and sound were terrible, but the game play addictive as you make your way through 20 levels. It was rock hard and due to the random placement of some collectibles, some levels were impossible to complete.

this was remade as a free download some years ago, although with different character models, the gameplay and level design remain the same
look for a company called ovine games, most of their download links are broken but you may still be able to find it
