This is the first Beastie Boys song I ever heard when I was 13, I'm now 44 and it's still one of my favourite songs ever

For whatever reason, "The Beatsie climb straight into your ear. I'm 43, been two weeks now revisiting this album and especially "Check your Head" that's one of the best albums ever made. 😎👊🏻

I bought this cassette when it came out and I can’t remember how long it took me to figure out that the letters/numbers on the plane spelled EATME looking at it in a mirror.

Besides their Funky beats w/deep bass the lyrics are on point! Wow it's been 33yrs since I got that Beige cassette. I've had a few of them. If I lost a tape I'd cop another. Went to CYA & CDC in Cali too many times to count. I find myself in a time warp music wise. This is the sound of old I'm comfortable with. So I always keep the Beasties close to me like DMC, TOO SHORT, $E40, PAC, ICE-T. In other words MANDO On Licence TO ILL a awipe away at all times. BBRASS MONKEYby the CLUB is a very sweet well made drink.

Wow. If you start it right at that 3:10/breakdown, this could pass for early Depeche Mode or even Nine Inch Nails.
It sounds new to me all over again. This album really is a gift that keeps on giving. I had great taste in music as a 10-yr-old Mormon kid.
