Putin Meets Mobilised Soldiers, Fires Sniper Rifle At Training Centre

President Vladimir Putin on Thursday visited a training centre for mobilised Russians for the first time since announcing a partial military call-up on September 21.  He visited a shooting centre in the Ryazan region, southeast of Moscow where he also shot a newly developed sniper rifle and hugged military men. The visit comes after reports that mobilised men are badly equipped, leading to some discontent.
