Hi there! Shalom! If I may, there's an aspect of Masorti Judasim that should be touched. It's progressive observance. The reason why there are different levels of pobservance and practice amonst Mosorti jews is that individuals can be at a different stage of their Jewish experiences. Masorti Judaism encourages every Jew to become as practicing as they can, but should do so in a way that it'll be meaningful and solid. That's why there's so much tolerance. At the same time, the movement considers itself halachic (based on jewish Law) and the ideal Masorti Jew is someone who adds mitzvot to their lives slowly but surely. Kol TUV!

I began my practice of Judaism as a Modern Orthodox, then I went to a Drum congregation, and then to Sephardic Orthodox. Finally I completed my conversion. To me all of it is fundamentally the same. Great video

Great and often overlooked topic.

Being Ger, I know these concepts are not fully explained nor understood by most outside the Jewish community. The spectrum runs wide.

For instance I, a Ger, attend Shabbat services online with Jews, all of us firing up PCs or phones to attend. I use a siddur downloaded to my phone for prayers.

Chazal and Halakhic scholars may say this is is the worse chet since the egel. But everyone attending are sincerely engaging the energy and spirit of the day.

I'm looking to one day convert to Judaism - conservative Judaism is the denomination that appeals the most to me. Reform and Orthodox Judaism are on opposite ends of the spectrum and if you pick the middle you get the best of both.
