There is not that much sleeping in the world, he is not asleep. All of that poking and nudging would have caused him to be up on all 4’s. He looks paralyzed from a previous bite or sick.

Watching a few of these I’m getting the distinct feeling that these boars/pigs are being drugged and then fed to these lizards. If this is the case it’s a shocking case of abuse.

Wait, wait wait! You think this boar was sleeping? The boar, most likely, had been bitten, especially since Komodos are known to rack their prey after biting it and waiting until is weak. If the boar was bitten, the bacteria has taken hold, and the beast will die with or without the Komodo’s interference. Geeez! Sleep?
