I asked you guys on Instagram for your questions and most of them really boiled down to a homeschool mom Q&A. I'm sharing my experience as a second-generation homeschooler and everything that goes with it!

I didn't realize that you were a nurse! How cool! My husband is a nurse--we met when he was still going through his course, so I remember those days. I feel the same about my homeschool experience growing up--there weren't really any 'cons' for me.

Ur experience with university helps me with my older daughter as she’s going to medical school after homeschooling. We aren’t sure if she’ll do a pre med course or do a longer medical school with pre med included. It depends what options she chooses. It’s awesome that ur brothers triplets are doing well!!! I’m was also partly homeschooled and my older kids went to pubic school and we all say homeschooling is awesome as we’ve seen public school.

So sorry to hear that you have been poorly. Hope you are all fine now. Missed seeing your videos popping up! Congratulations on the new family members - so exciting! Would love to hear you talk more about your secondary education. We are in our 6th year of home education and are starting to plan ahead. I’m sure things will evolve naturally as they always have but I still have wobbly moments of panic 😅 Not sure if you can get in your country yet but we’ve recently discovered ‘A Year and a Day’ for nature, folklore and stories and it is really beautiful and is really easy to fit in to our other nature sturdy materials (a wonderful vintage set called Nature at Work and the now well-known Exploring Nature with Children) Best wishes from our family to yours. You're a pianist!?! That's awesome! I hope you'd consider putting out some piano videos.

I love what you said about homeschooling allowing you to be yourself. It's a benefit of homeschooling that is not often mentioned. My husband and I were just talking about this, wondering how much time we wasted suppressing our natural personalities and interests in an effort to fit in with peers in school. By God's grace, we're now a lot more ourselves, bravely making extraordinary choices like homeschooling. 😀

I’m interested to know more about your daughter when she was 3 and eager to do school. Mine is almost 4 and doing the workbooks and reading ok. What do you mean when you said she wasn’t grasping letter sounds completely? You mean fluency or actual decoding? Would love to know more
