I'd guess it's a good idea to pay for Premium. You had excellent legroom and a pretty decent dinner. The breakfast snack was not impressive, but overall this appeared to be a good experience on a low-cost airline. I'm surprised that so many people go to Reunion.

That price was good for this route, and legroom was amazing for a low-cost airline. It's just the seat was quite narrow. Food also doesn't look very appealing, but considering COVID-19, it's totally understandable. I'd love to try them in the future

In Europe Low-Cost Long-Haul Carriers have struggeled to be successful but in Asia specially South East Asia, Low Cost Airlines rulez.
Even Singapore Airlines also had to created low cost airlines to compete other competitor. In SEA, a flight ticket equal to one whole month salaries.
