In today's video, we're going to show you the step by step process of how to install G20 Carbon Fiber paddle shifter extensions! The process is very straightforward and adds a great look and feel to the steering wheel on your G20 BMW! If you have an A90 Supra, the process is essentially identical and uses the same paddle.

I tried today and found some tips.

1. Unlocked the car
2. hold the media button to close the screen manually
3. Take of the negative battery
4. Using T20 screwdriver to take off the paddle shift

Removing a F30 base airbag is the worst!!!! ha glad to see BMW kept this easy like the f30 m sport

Quick question. I disconnected the negative battery terminal in the trunk and the light in the trunk stayed on. Is that correct our does the one under the hood need to be disconnected also?

Brian , hi . I have a " tip " for you .
M8 / M8 competition.. We all know that the lesser powerful M850i sounds much better than an true M series . Everyone is trying to get that " V8 " sound that the M8 is lacking.
My challenge for you and your great channel is this . Shorten the M8 tail pipes by not cutting them from the tips but from ( if possible ) from the back box . Then , just for experiment use the chrome exhaust square surround that the m850i has either by replacing rear bumper or someway with your genius mind around the shorthend exhaust tips . Imaging the Bmw M850i rear end but with M8 competition 100mm tail pipes.
This will give the Bmw M8 an deeper V8 sound that buyers would love.
Please experiment ... You could be the 1st in the market to modify.

Do you guys have any advice for the thigh extender in a g20? My problem is the dealer decided to open it and now when fully closed it not lining up with the seat

Has anyone used the paddle shift extenders that connect to the stock paddle shifters? Any bad experience with those? I want to avoid having to remove the airbag, was looking into the add on extensions, but I read a review that they touch the steering wheel and do not actually shift..
