An unusual, interesting ghost story, but so sorrowful. I thought after listening to Edith Wharton she must've loved and understood dogs. (She did.) My friend grieved for the loss of her pet whom she was extremely close to and has seen and felt her presence several times since. Apparently, this is not such an unusual phenomenon. I liked this narration. Thank you.

So sad. Poor woman in the mercy of an ignorant, selfish man.

Hopefully this is a story only.
