About Hoshi, he was from a poor working class family (his father was a farmer ), they once lost their home due to debt, got help from their community. Although trainees had concessions to attend schools in Seoul, Hoshi still woke early (he slept with his uniform on and woke at 5-5:30 am daily) nd went to his school in Maseok, his hometown located far away as he couldn't afford school in Seoul. The reasons y he donates so much nd funds his school.

EDIT2: Hoshi's father wasn't a farmer but a small businessman.Although Hoshi could hv bought a newer and stylish one, he later bought the same house for his parents especially his dad as that's where he grew up and holds a sentimental value for his dad.

i think it's still really sweet that hoshi continues to donate to his hometown Namyanju and his high school, Maseok High. he talked about how he grew up in a working class family and his family got by because the community around him helped him. And I relate to nothing more. When you're poor, nothing means more to you than when the community you're around to help you get back on your feet.

He also kept going to Maseok High School even when he moved to Gangnam when he became a trainee under Pledis, even though he had to travel a bit to keep going there. It's sweet that he cares so much for his high school, likely because he didn't have to debut when he was in high school, so his memories there wouldn't have been affected by his stardom. it's likely the last time he got to be a kid and just have fun without stressing about the plethora of things he does now

Mingyu and wonwoo live in the same building as seventeen. Only, when they were choosing to have their individual rooms, they were "unlucky" to be roommates. But from the vlog, theirs is almost having separate rooms but has connecting door. The other members are divided in 3-4 separate floors with their own room since 2020.

Solo activities wise - Mingyu definitely takes the cake. But since Woozi get royalty for over 100 songs, I'm not sure who is richer.
