The VMAX brand just entered the US market but it has been around since 2015 selling electric scooters in Europe. At first glance, the VX2 Pro looks similar to other commuter scooters but they have made subtle changes that make a huge difference. We had a chance to get a first-hand experience with the VX2 Pro and were impressed with the Swiss engineering and design.

Will the VX2 Pro be able to crack a US market filled with fierce competition in the electric commuter scooter space?

In this review, we unbox, set up, walkthrough, take it for a spin, and tell you what we love and hate about the VMAX VX2 Pro.

You guys are the probably the only channel that does honest and detailed reviews of PEVs. The problem with many other review channels is that they just go through them fast and just say they are good or excellent and end it right there with their discount codes. There's no criticism that were ever made and they are just overall misleading just to try to sell the products. I won't name the channel but I'm getting tired of it. People are starting to see these problem and I'm hoping to see more people come out and share what they are seeing that I'm seeing. Thanks guys!

Excellent review ant footage. What makes this nominal 500w motor more outstanding and efficient than your previously tested identical wattage scooters?

Really enjoy your videos. I live in a hilly area and want a scooter that won't have difficulty navigating these hills. I'm been looking at Niu's KQi2 and KQi3. Which of these scooters (including any other VMAX scooter) is better at ascending hills? Thanks and keep up the great work!

Just wondering if the max speed of 19mph is a sufficient? If encountering a dangerous riding situation, the lower limits will be more a riding hazard. Having the boost to avoid a danger factor should be considered. Especially in cities with congestion issues. Overall I want to consider this scooter.

Does the charger have a fan and is it loud?
That's one thing I dislike about my ETWO-W.

I saw on another channel, this model for the US market has a 3rd mode?

So was the one with the separated display and front fork suspension a pre production model?

I just started riding scooters this year (~March '23) and I own a '22 Apollo Ghost and a '23 Apollo Phantom.
I have a question to anyone who has an opinion on it - what is your preference for throttle levers?
I started with a trigger throttle on my Ghost, then I bought a separate thumb throttle (thumb-forward)
I upgraded to an Apollo Phantom, which has the thumb (thumb-down) levers like this one does for both throttle & regen.
I haven't ridden one with twist-throttle yet.

I'm looking at getting a Nami Burn-E2 Max this coming spring, but I noticed it has the "thumb-forward" throttle, which for the price of the scooter, seems kind of cheap. Anyone else fall in love with the "thumb-down" levers like I have, or is the big, chunky thumb-forward throttle the performance preference?

Haha those things aren't even allowed in Switzerland. So I can't imagine the engineering.

Good luck mailing it to Sweden and back for any warranty service. Two year warranty nonsense.

I like your videos. Swiss engineering.. But it's just your basic Chinese components. Looks like almost every other Ninebot G30 clone. Also I think rear disc brake and front drive is better ( Like the Xiaomi m365 clones) Because if you brake hard with front wheel you can go down like a sack of potatoes.
