I think anyone who lands a plane and saves the lives of its passengers without any training should be offered free flight lessons by the FAA. Need more people like that manning the skies.

I've seen other channels cover this, but I hadn't seen the video of his landing anywhere!! Holy shit, he really did do a FANTASTIC job! Also, I heard from some other YT vids that the other commercial pilots waiting to land/take off were congratulating him on his landing, but apparently they were on a different frequency, so he didn't hear them :( I hope the pilot got to the hospital in time & was ok!

This guy clearly has some sort of flight experience either unofficially as a friend of the pilot or in flight simulators. He knows more than most people would. Still a great job of handling the situation though.

For someone with no flight experience he seemed to know all the lingo and knew enough about the controls to be able to use them.

Not to take anything away from this guy, but you can tell he wasn't clueless. Transponder, rate of climb and everything wasn't a nuisance to him.

I love that ATC took the time to let the other pulots know the passengers landed that plane. He very easily could have just said "flight emergency" or something else, but he specifically let them know "the passengers landed that plane"

Tvis guy had unofficial flight training. He didn't have technical training, but he had training when he flew with his friends... he did only have about 20 hours, but thats different from no experience.

I love ur channel and I am current. 35 year ER nurse here. Retired. While I have no intentions on becoming a pilot I require acute learning. I get bored too easy. Im listening and observing everything u saw. At the very least I’ll know what not to do. I already understand a few common elements in some of the small plane incidents.
