I use and highly recommend using the Astra theme. I use the free version along with the free version of Elementor page builder and I am very happy with both. I signed up with GTMetrix so I am able to run their speed test from a much closer location thanks to your video.

At the moment I'm using the Astra theme on all my projects. I've tested the theme filled with some content (made with Elementor, Elementor Pro, Ultimate Addons for Elementor and Elementor Extra's) with WP Fastest Cache, Autoptimize, Comet Cache and Swift Performance Lite. All free plugins. Although Swift Performance Lite is by far the lesser known among these cache/optimisation tools it does give me the best (sometimes spectacular) results. Time and time again. Any chance of reviewing the Swift Performance Lite plugin, Paul? You'd have my eternal thanks.

my website is running around 2.5 seconds on pingdom but 13 seconds on GT metrix why would that be ??

Hmmm that's very weird isn't it about the gtmetrix results in last test :S ... Can't really explain that since it has way fewer requests. But does Autoptimize cache the page? I thought it only minified etc.

Thanks for your videos, as I'm aware of, GTmetrix loading time is almost always double as Pingdom test.
I started learning and tweaking VPS as my webhost since few months ago and tested hundreds of different server configurations ( including different webservers and server cache method), and still practicing...
The beat results for a page like your example with Astra and elementor for me is less than 300 ms in Pingdom and as I said around 600ms in GTmetrix. So still I'm not sure which loading time is correct.

So far, I've been using the OceanWP theme. You have definitely convinced me to try Astra theme. But maybe there is no need for a theme if one has Elementor Pro.

Try test GENERATEPRESS and SUKI i've tested them way more faster than astra, oceanwp and even hello theme.. They have much lesser http request.
