The strikers are screwed and the union that represents them is to blame. The union should’ve secured pay increases and cost of living raises every time the Universities raised tuition prices. It’s too little too late at this point. Even if the university gives in to all the union’s demands the money won’t be enough to keep up with the constant rising of rents, gas, energy, groceries, daycare, sales tax, property tax, breathing tax etc. The working class continues to get overlooked as City leaders are focused on caring for the homeless and illegal migrants these people are treated much better than taxpayers.
