When the Cube went on sale last year for about $80, had to get it...having the extra internal memory and faster operating system is excellent. I use the Cube way more than my Nvidia Shield

I'm a fan of the 4K Firestick and recently got the 2nd Gen FireCube and it's better hands down than the 4K. The speed alone is blasing fast and it has double the space. It is also very responsive when it comes to the voice commands.

Still using 4K Fire TV box 2nd gen, you know the one with the Ethernet & SD slot. Not sure why they discontinued them, but still running 💪🏽 like a champ. Did you ever compared that one to any of these 2?

Comparing the Firestick to the FireCube is like comparing a 486 to a Pentium. And with all the videos showing you how to free up memory on your Firestick to improve performance, the FireCube becomes the better option because it has more memory.

With the full Alexa functionality built in, it's like having an Echo built in to your Firestick. If you are full on in to the Amazon ecosystem, the FireCube is a no-brainer.

Prime Days just had the Cube on sale for $79.99. The Cube also goes on sale from time to time for $99.99. But even for $119.99, with all that power and functionality, it is totally worth it. It makes the top of the line Firestick look like a toy.

Why you doing this? For real? Absolutely no comparison! The stick is more popular because of its price. Period. The Cube is better than the Firestick by far. In fact it is better than 90% of all the devices available. Not the the best seller for some reason.I guess people don't like the shape or something, just like the Shield TV. The thing is, most people want to pay under 60 bucks for a device.

Sounds like a no brainer, the cube has twice the storage and a faster processor, and to add storage is pretty simple with a memory stick.

Than you for having done the comparison and your review as to which you would chose to do streaming. I have the 4K Firestick which I have been using successfully since it came out. However, I have been thinking perhaps moving up to the Fire Cube but did not know what the difference was to the 4K and if I would get benefit to justify purchasing and no longer using my 4K Firestick. Your very well done review helped me to strongly consider making a change for more from my streaming devices and to feel I was going to get real benefit from monies spent. Heard 4K has been improved upon and will be introduced sometime in the late Spring. Might wait a bit should there be any improvements on the Fire Cube. Enjoy your videos and your honest evaluations. No I will get stick 4K and pair it with Alexa speaker, I just need extra streaming device for my projector, so I can watch movies on big screen...But I wouldn't mind Cube it's on sale now August 14 2021...

Hi Rohas, does it have any problems with streaming apps like cnma HD and kodi, 4k videos etc, some peoples on reddit talk that on some 3rd party apps 4k vdeos wont work in native..I will be very happy if u answer, and youtube, does it have HDR support...Thx a lot...
