Well, that was interesting. Kind of like your own personal "Disco Light" ! I imagine that the battery life is tied to what mode you are using. Certainly, if you have the thing cranking out max Lumens, the batteries won't last as long as if you just have the 2 front LEDs on to use it as a pseudo flashlight. I see a lot of the high lumen LED devices coming out now. Some claim that they are so bright that they can be used as a "protection device" in case you are confronted by, say, a robber. "The bright flashing LEDs will stun your attacker!" (from a commercial) .. ha ha! I can think of one good use for it. You can put it on the outside of the bathroom door, and perhaps (if necessary) you can turn it on in 'warning mode' once you leave the bathroom .. ha ha! I always enjoy your reviews .. always interesting! Cheers!
