In 1976 we were young parents and were counting pennies so we could buy some milk for the baby. We found a 2-1/2 dollar gold piece! same size as a penny, I took it to the coin shop and they gave me $145 for it. That was what our mortgage payment was at that time!!! Your video brought back a very happy memory. Thanks!

My dad would put some not so desirable condition coins back into circulation to keep the hobby alive. He's been gone many years now but seeing videos like this brings a smile to me

This makes me appreciate the fact that I found an 1822 coin in the wild and without a metal detector even more!

The orange piece of plastic with the metal edge you had in your oddities pile was an old bingo chip. Bingo players used magnetic wands to clear the cards after each game. This was before most bingo halls went all paper cards or electronic cards.

Instead of saying bank roll it is MWR - machine wrapped rolls. And instead of saying hand rolls it is CWR - customer wrapped rolls. Also, how come you don't save 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial cents? They were only made 1 year with 4 different designs and I save everyone.

I’m at 8:06 and I’m blown away at how you organized the pennies. I don’t comment on videos much but at this moment in the video seeing how organized the money is, I paused the video, subscribed, hit the like button, and left a comment. Great Job!!

So I recently just started coin roll hunting, bought a box of pennies a couple weeks ago, got like 20 wheat cent's, last week wife goes to bank brings back a $50 bag had around 42-45 wheat cent's, this past Friday I got one of those taped boxes, somewhere towards the 13 or 14 roll mark, found my first Indian Head and was also a 1907 along with about 30 more wheat pennies, but yeah I certainly freaked out cause I knew chances was pretty slim just on coppers alone my first box was only around 15% coppers, the 2nd box was almost half copper and the shield cent's are definitely starting to take over so really cheek those memorials for errors if you wanna make big money! I've been a coin collector for many years, always looking through my change, had plenty of silver coins at one time, still have a few, but some of those harder to find errors on older coins are really about gone into private collections! Nice find on the Flying Eagle there, imagine the story that penny could tell if it talked! 😊

I had loads of Indian Head pennies given to me when a relative passed away 30 years ago. No key dates. There was a toll booth on Grove Street in Clifton N.J. at the time that had a 10 cent exit. As I drove through I quickly pressed 10 Indian head pennies into the toll takers hand, I knew they hated pennies but I remember seeing the look on this guy's face in my rear view mirror as he stuck his head outside the booth. I think I made his day.

Fantastic find with the flying eagle! My oldest coin penny roll hunting was an 1863 Civil War Token, but man, it would be a dream of mind to find a flying eagle in a roll! Awesome!

Put the light penny in a glass and shake it. Its probably a Magicians coin. I am a Magician and a coin collector. If its a Magicians coin it will divide in 2 parts. one will be a penny shell and the other side will be a dime on one side and penny reverse on the other side. ( shake vigoursouly to get to separate)

Did you look for any varieties? There has to be some doubled dies and RPM's in 40 boxes. Plus, don't forget to check 1992 & 1992D's for close AM's and weigh all 1983's for transitional coins.

Try and see if the 61 opens. It could be a "magic coin"

That looks so overwhelming to do at once…wow. Nice job with that. Tons of finds. Personally I don’t think I would wanna tackle more than 2 at once. Impressive 💯 great flying eagle bro ❤️‍🔥

When the chance of winning the Euromillions lottery here in England at odds of 1 in 139 million, this kinda puts it into perspective how impossible it is.
