Cleveland area weather forecast: Warmer Sunday before an active week of precipitation

Your 7 a.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for November 17, 2024:

High and mid-level clouds today with some sunny breaks. The biggest difference going into today will be the south wind boosting afternoon highs to the upper 50s.

A minor disturbance will slide to the north and develop scattered rainfall overnight to around daybreak. This will be round one of many rounds of rain, wind and possibly snow.

A powerful low pressure system will deepen in the plains Tuesday. More widespread rain and possible thunder will arrive as a warm front lifts through.
