American Airlines Retires The Last Of Its MD-80 Aircraft

American Airlines is saying farewell to its final two MD-80 aircraft this week.

The MD-80 planes were quiet, comfortable aircraft that I enjoyed flights on many times

I will miss them. I hope a future airline or something can bring them back to the skies. They are fun.

Passengers love that 'seat of the pants' flying. Like their bonus plan

After this they became the most generic US airline I have ever seen with the new Livery after they merged with US Air. Also more or less replaced with the failure of the MAX aircraft.
