New York had a 100 wins and set the All-Time Team Hr Record. Houston had 103 wins, best ERA in the majors, and a historically good run differential. LA won two consecutive pennants, had statistically projected 100 win talent, and were Top 5 in the majors in both runs and the ERA. And none of them even got two wins in a series against the Sox. That is INSANE. We might never again see a postseason run this good.

It was a cherry on top to see Machado be the last person to strike out and fall on his knees, especially as a giants fan.

Can we talk about Nathan Eovaldi in Game 3 tho? What a performance. Poor guy.

2007: Proving this team is back

2013: Healing a city

2018: Pure dominance

108 wins, 3-1, 4-1, 4-1 Title. That's a formula for season long dominance. Damage done.

Mookie Betts and Joe Kelly must've felt hella awkward when they first went to LA

Only reason I wasn’t heartbroken as a brewer fan is because I knew the winner of the NLCS had no chance lol

I’m honestly shocked this World Series didn’t have higher tv ratings. Two of the most historic and storied franchises in baseball with large fanbases

I love how after game 3 all the Red Sox players congratulated Eovaldi.

My mom has seen some great Red Sox teams; even the ones that didn’t win it all were still pretty nasty. The 1967, 1975, 1986 Sox were really god damn good. Then there’s the champs of 2004, 2007, and 2013 (ones I witnessed being born in ‘95). Out of every single one of them: this Red Sox team was the best she has seen. In over 60 years of watching baseball, she has never seen a team so dominate and pretty much perfect in almost everyway.

Feel bad for Nate. Prolly the best postseason relief appearance I’ve ever seen

I still cant believe that i watched all 7 hours of game 3. my roommate came home from work in the top of the 10th i said "it'll be over soon we're in extras" i didnt think i would force him to watch what was essentially another full ball game that didnt get over until almost 240 central time

Congratulations Boston!! Class act team and organization. As an Astros fan, I have no shame in my team or our year, and no shame in saying we got beat by a better team..The World Champs!! I look forward to meeting Boston in the playoffs again next year!! Start of a good respectable rivalry between HOU-BOS!!

Everyone talks about Kershaw choking in the playoffs, but no one is talking about jansen. Dude always seems to give up the big home run in the 8th or 9th.

Edit: This is awkward, I'm a legit Rays fan, and Kevin Cash and Nick Anderson just pulled a Roberts/Jansen. I blame this comment :( Karma doesn't feel good
