Cadillac Wireless Charging Upgrade That Works! | CTS, ATS, XTS, ELR

2015-2018 Cadillac models with CUE hidden compartment may have wireless chargers installed but don't have the power or space to work with modern, larger phones using the Qi charging standard (15W instead of the old 5W charging power). This upgrade allows your modern phone to actually receive wireless charging from the car. It only takes about 15 minutes to install!

I was never able to the OEM unit to work so I bought this upgrade as soon as I saw the video. My upgrade for a 2017 ATS was easy and, since I had already removed my OEM unit, took about 5 minutes to install. Works faultlessly. Thank you!
I got my discount which was appreciated. A tip for smooth installation: use a small strip of duct tape to hold the screw onto the bit if you don’t have a magnetic tip.

Did this upgrade for 2016 XTS. Very simple install and it is working fine for me. I’m actually very thankful to 404 parts for making this available as I was very disappointed that my old charger didn’t work with my new phone and the cost was not prohibitive either!

omfg, I seriously thought my cue unit was defective or something because I could never get the wireless charging to work with my Note 10. I also figured this upgrade would be a difficult one but it looks surprisingly easy. Thank you so much for this, I'm definitely gonna be getting this upgrade!

I installed mine today. To bad it doesn't provide for Wireless Android Car Play. Still I'm happy to be able to store & charge my phone. I did cut out the two nubs and my large Samsung Galaxy smartphone went right in and the green light showed me it was indeed charging 🙏.
