These are the real creators behind the scenes. These are the real individuals that created the sounds that we all know and love

I love how you re-experience the creative process of each track. It really makes a huge difference for me when re-hearing these classics again now.

Waiting and waiting and waiting for Behringer to make a Linninger.

I don’t know how some songs, just when you think great would be good enough, come together with the right people creating them and become perfect.

I like it's edited in a way that gives it a perfect loop.

Everything about this loop is perfect. From the congas sprinkled in to the timing on the open hats. It is just sooo good.

The use of different drum samples is genius! I thought I recognized the 808 sample in the track somewhere… absolutely incredible drum line

So amazing. Yet simple. I mean it’s a loop!!! No fills or anything else needed.

Captivating. Today's "music by algorithm" cannot match the feeling this gives you

All that really cool analog equipment. So much more tactical and accessible than modern digital recreations. Nothing beats real knobs and faders 👍🙏🇬🇧♥️

Very cool, mixing up machines that way. These days, people are used to just digging through the sample library but when you're working with hardware, you have to know your gear and where to find the sound you're looking for. My favorite hats were the only sound I really liked on my 626, I'd be tempted to buy another just for the hats. They always sat just right in the mix for me.

When I hear how you're describing the sounds used when making the decision for this awesome song, it's a lesson in its self. Sound selection and understanding the what you want is so important and I will take what I have learnt with me from now on ❤

I imagine it must’ve drove other producers/engineers absolutely crazy in the 80’s trying to figure out how you guys mixed drum machines like that
