I think it's all the comfrey and nettles that have added vital nutrients to the soil😊

It is crazy to think of how this plot looked like it when you first acquired it. Tons of work to did! It is gorgeous and growing wonderful food. Be proud of what you accomplished!!!❤❤❤

Nettles indicate a nutrient (nitrogen I believe) rich soil and since you used to have a lot of those, the plants that have done very well likely like a nitrogen rich soil.

Oh and regarding the watering in the greenhouse, I can really recommend the “Irrigatia Solar Automatic Watering System”. Quite easy to set up, and you just need a barrel of water and sun for the solar power. It waters more if it’s sunny, since the battery gets more charge then. I recently was away for a week and my very thirsty cucumbers on my very hot glazed in balcony have still been thriving! Worth every penny.

I really like your vlogs, I have watch from the start and love to sit down with a cuppa and just relax and get inspired.

Everything looks so vibrant! I love seeing your harvest as you go thru the garden! All those potatoes and carrots and squash! I get such joy seeing how big of a change has happened in this plot I just 6 months! So much hard work from you and such an enjoyable plot to watch you cultivate!

Absolutely amazing! As someone who's been here since the very first video, I can only bow to all of your work and dedication to this lovely little piece of land.

Over in Australia they are determined to eradicate fire ants. Unknown if your ants are the same, anyway how I get rid of ants when I don't want them is it to put loads of CINNAMON all over the place. It does not kill them, it just gets them to move away to somewhere else. Also, Queensland blue pumpkins are large plants, and it is difficult to cut open the fruit. I prefer Butternut pumpkins.

Your plot looks amazing from how it looked when you first took it over, you should be very proud of yourself for what you have been able to accomplish this year. Happy Gardening from Southern California.

If you plant the tomatoes quite deeply in the ground (like, 30cm deep), then you'll only have to water them occasionally, but more deeply. That way they'll have greater access to water deeper in the soil; I've found mine tend to hold out better during hot weather when I'm on vacation. They need to be started a bit earlier than you normally would (so that they get the height to bury them deeply), but it's a nice solution to overheating.

I loved watching your update of the plot. I’ve been watching from the beginning. You’ve worked hard and it’s paid off. Everything looks amazing. A tip for the fig tree - find a permanent spot and plant it in the ground and it will fruit and not drop off. You have rich fertile soil around your plot so it will grow beautifully. Happy growing 😊🍆🌶️🥕🌽🫑🥦🥒🫛🫐🧅🥔

I’m so very glad to hear your confidence in this video. In previous posts, I worried about you being anxious about what to do/how to do it, etc. Yes, you CAN sort it! You can do anything-it’s apparent with that great garden!

Wow those cherry rose nasturtiums are gorgeous going to have to get some of those. Your plot is dreamy! I got mine in May so slowly getting there but can't wait to see it in full grow like this next year! 😍

Wow! I am currently, today, hoeing and building my very first flower beds in my new tiny home yard. I only hope mine grows half as vigorous as yours! All your flowers are just huge and gorgeous. You have a green thumb for sure, and, yes, that compost and soil are worth more than gold to a gardener!
