19 July 2016 Time-lapse: Hot!

A time-lapse of fantastic summer's day in mid-July. Tuesday 19 July 2016 was a very hot day, caused by a Spanish plume. The day was generally very sunny with only some fair weather and later convective clouds developing. The hot day then led onto a near-record breakingly warm night.

Fantastic time lapses. Just recently, I discovered the weather phenomenon 'Spanish Plume'. Valuable as part of the weather records into the future no doubt. It Needs context though ie. location - general, needn't be specific. Well done.

Liked how Tuesday 19 July 2016 had the same type of weather compared to Tuesday 19 July 2022. As those both days were hot lol.

Loved that it was so warm through the day (was also 32C in South Wales) but when it came to sleeping, had no chance. Was absolutely unbearable.

Amazing, is 32 a record for Manchester. Much hotter than our summers, usually highs of 28 or 29 (Then again the minimum high is 21). Opposite here, cold and wet and highs about 13 with raw winds.

32c here in Bolton also. It was a lovely day but the night was a bit too warm for me.

Last night was way too oppressive for my liking. Horrible sleeping weather.
