Birdie Wing was one of those animes you had to adjust to because of the way the characters dialogued their moves in golf but, I'd say that added the flavour to each person's technique and ability in their own style. Definitely worth a watch especially with the OST being great.

you missed out on how it seems nearly every character has telepathy or breaks the 4th wall or something bc they are all talking without talking or even moving their mouth while they are playing or do something else or not even looking at each other but theres dialogue/self narration going on.

most unique/interesting show i've seen in years and years.

apparently the main character shoots people in their hearts with golf to break their morale or something, and somehow there is apparently underground golf alongside pro golf and there is like a underground secrets of world war 2 golf facility that can reconfigure itself like its suddenly a james bond movie or something. and they keep switching between japan and some fictional european country called nafreece or something.

I’m with you, I just saw the anime this morning on the front page of an anime website. It’s season 2 but I wanted to see a glimpse of it first to know if I would like it or not, and I’m instantly hooked by the anime art and how attractive they are so I decided to watch the first season and try it out, man… I do not regret it. I ended up binge watching it till the current episode. I can’t wait for S2E3 now.

An anime about golf is the last thing in my mind that would be entertaining. I used to think golfing was a sports for old retired rich people, but this anime just washes those stereotypes away for me, I want to play golf now.
