Unschooling mom here!! Love watching creativity come alive in my children. My biggest hope for them (other than loving Jesus) is that they will be well prepared adults! Homeschooling has been such a blessing for us. Praying for all homeschool mommas out there no matter what method you choose!

Nicely done. Thank you for not bashing the unschooling mom. I don’t know if it was intentional, or even whether I’m just way off, but I picked up on something in this video which I’ve experienced and witnessed consistently through my 20 years of homeschooling. The classical and CM moms are definitely enjoying their occupations and their own new self education. And the unschooling mom is definitely enjoying the honor of witnessing her children’s self education. ❤

I live the rigor of the classical mum, the nature emphasis of CM and the life skill of the unschooler. Love them all ❤

I legitimately know *all* these moms! I think I am a little bit of each, but mostly I'm just a "whatever works" homeschooler.

How am I relating to each mom? 😅 each homeschool is as unique as each family. Love it 🥰

I absolutely love that you had the unschoolers BE the coffee shop instead of GO to the coffee shop.

We are not strictly any of those styles, but I laughed at the Boggle one. We play a lot of educational games, but when my son asked to play Fraction War recently I said, “Ok, but let’s first practice finding the common denominators in the fractions to compare them.” 😆

I'm none of them. But yes if I see an insect or bird or plant we've been studying then I ask my daughter what it is. My daughter struggled with reading, but then started reading the wings of fire graphic novels. She was so into the story that when she had to read the actual books to continue, she did.

You better believe we drill and learn Latin, have stacks of living books, and are master recyclers. Our education is all over place. It may be a little messy, but learning and finding out who we are in every season has been a beautiful and mostly enjoyable journey. 😊

I’m a passionate, *involved* Unschooling / Relaxed —aka: free of curriculum and rigid structure with a whole lot of outdoor time, trips, and real world experiences, often led by my son’s interests — Momma, with touches of Charlotte Mason and Montessori, and a whole lot of resourceful creativity thrown in.

Lol this is hilariously fab! We just started our fifth year of homeschooling. I think I'm a mix, but probably more CM, but if my children want to read twaddle, I encourage them, as my goal is for them to love reading, and I know they can read well enough that that's not a concern 😄
