Is Surfing Safe From COVID-19?

This is daily vlog 1264 since I began this channel in August 2015 and today between 12:12 and 12:16 I was at home in Culburra Beach wondering whether surfing is safe from COVID-19?

This is my take on the daily vlog concept.

Everyday I upload a 4 minute vlog, shot 4 minutes after the day before.

There’s no editing, no re-takes and no music over-dubs and they always finish right on the 4 minute mark, no exceptions.

This message was on my local buy swap sell Just a warning to others...Yesterday at East Beach an off duty Police Sergeant told me that I could receive a $1600 fine for letting my daughter surf. She surfs everyday for 30min exercise that is in compliance with the public gathering requirements.

I called the COVID-19 hotline and they said ....’Although you can go to the beach and exercise it appears you can not surf as this is similar to hiking where if there is an emergency this may put unwanted restrain on Emergency Services’.

you are in the best place Benon if i was you i'd get out their if it's quite. here in the UK we are being told to keep 6 feet apart from one another and we should go out for an hour once a day to get some exercise, but unfortunately some people are still not listening. whats going to make things worse is that it Easter weekend and we could hit temperatures as high as 26c so it's going to be hard not to go out this weekend.
