Let’s be honest. The US gave Ukraine the official approval 2 weeks ago, and that’s the reason we began hearing about using Western weapons against targets inside Russia. It was to test Putin’s nuggets and normalize this new phase of the war to us, the viewers in the outside world. You really think Macron, Sholz, Finland, etc came out of nowhere and made public statements? I think not- they follow the American lead. And yes the UK made the first mention 2 months ago. All to test and normalize. Still very much approve the bravado of American foreign policy 👏

That's not a secret! Just recently, the US said the Ukraine soldiers can strike anywhere inside Russia if they want.

First reluctant to give tanks, then missiles and air defence systems. After that fighter jets. Then permission to hit inside Russia. Last step ruling out soldiers entering the war.
Result WW3. US lead NATO should take the responsibility of that. It's very clear to the world now.
